  • “The Best Use of Life is to spend it for something that Outlasts Life.”

The meaning of this quote is that in life we should attempt to achieve only that thing which we think can pave the way for the posterity. Not that everyone is capable of achieving this remarkable feat. Equally difficult is to even decide what we should do that will be thought an exemplary deed. We have before us the example of a great number of people who have, throughout the ages, made remember them by virtue of their excellence and greatness in different areas of human activity. The words of geniuses like, Confucius, Gandhi, A.P.J. Abdul kalam and His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama have the power to infuse a sense of vigour and enthusiasm in bringing about a qualitative change in the lifestyle of the people across the globe.

We must not forget that one thing was common to all- ‘Selfless Service’. It was by dint of their sense of commitment which stands them apart from the common folks.

When we talk of commitment, basically it is to give a lot of your time and attention to something that you believe is right and shouldering responsibility that has entrusted on you.

I am sure that the school magazine committee will provide equal opportunity to our budding writers so that when they see their poems, stories, articles, reports etc. get a place in the magazine in black and white. Thus, it becomes a good source of motivation for the budding authors to write on.

I take this opportunity to thank the Editorial Board and the students who have contributed to the school magazine. I also acknowledge my heartfelt gratitude to the honourable Director of STS. Society for enabling the school in bringing out this magazine.
