The school provides facilities for a number of co-curricular activities through a year long calendar with a health blend of mental and physical activities both for boys and girls. Most of these co-curricular activities held during the last two periods of the week. For the purpose of competitions the whole school is divided in to four houses named – Gandhi house, Shastri House, Tagore House and Nehru House. Each house has its own colour and flag. All members of staff are divided at the beginning of the year into the four Houses with some remaining neutral members.
All through the year Morning Assembly from 9:00- 9:20 AM is conducted by the classes in rotation. Monday and Tuesday the Assemblies are in English, Wednesday and Thursday in Tibetan languages and Friday and Saturday in Hindi. During the Morning Assemblies student present, thoughts and explanation, news local, national and International, speeches in various topics, Quiz and General knowledge besides songs, skits and dances.
Through these co-curricular we attempt to develop the student’s confidence, linguistic and public speaking skills, co-operative living and team spirit. In an atmosphere of joy harmony and mutual respect children are encouraged to grow up to be good citizens, law abiding and peace loving.
